Interesting past experiences

Since graduating with a degree in hospitality management, Sue has gained over 30 years of experience through managerial roles within sectors such as contract catering and management training to the corporate finance sector, here in the UK, New Zealand and Australia. 25 years ago she joined a small business consultancy and within a couple of years had executed an MBO. She spent the next 10 years as finance director developing Qtab Ltd into a leading strategic HR company.

Sue and Inspira

In 2003 Sue founded Inspira UK Ltd, to focus on supporting growing businesses with business and financial planning. She is an energetic leader with the presence and ability to communicate, influence and build relationships across all levels of an organisation. Sue finds the range of organisations and people she works with, and the variety of each day, inspiring; relishing in different challenges and the quick moving pace of the business.

Consequently, it is equally important to Sue to see individuals achieve their ambitions. As an experienced executive coach, she encourages individuals to flourish and reach their potential. For four years Sue was part of the business coaching team working on the Business Growth programme at Cranfield School of Management and the Better Business Programme at CASS part of City University. Sue plays an active role as a coach for young entrepreneurs and was a coach until recently with the New Entrepreneurs Foundation.

Travelling forms a big part of Sue’s time away from Inspira, and her coast to coast trek across Costa Rica is one of her most exhilarating trips. Her lasting memory of this trip was landing on a remote beach on the Pacific coast with only the monkeys to talk to!
