Institute of Certified Bookkeepers (ICB)
What is the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers (ICB)?
At Inspira, we are very proud to be a registered ICB bookkeeping practice and that our staff are ICB-qualified too. The Institute of Certified Bookkeepers (ICB) is the world’s leading bookkeeping organisation. It promotes and maintains the standards of bookkeeping as a profession through the establishment of relevant qualifications and the award of grades of membership that recognise academic attainment, working experience and competence.
Always insist on a Certified Bookkeeper
Bookkeeping is a regulated profession and your business deserves the best. ICB members are qualified to fulfil a range of roles including general bookkeeping and accounts department work, purchase and sales ledgers, reconciliations, trial balances, VAT returns and cash-flow forecasts. We are also qualified in payroll, final accounts, budgeting and management accounts. All ICB members are qualified bookkeepers and the practices listed in the ICB directory are insured and licensed to offer their services.
What does this mean for our clients?
Being registered with the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers (ICB) means that we are always up to date with the latest legislation, mindful of our ethical obligations and best-placed to provide a trusted and exemplary service to business. We attend the ICB Annual Bookkeepers Summit, which keeps our knowledge base fresh and we benefit from sharing experiences with our colleagues.
