Festive greetings

As businesses close down for the festive break, Sue Higgins and Jeanie Roberton and all the staff at Inspira wishes you all a Happy Christmas and a prosperous New Year.

People alway say that it’s good to have a holiday, but that sometimes you need another holiday straight after it, to recover from all the travelling and over-indulging! And we always think Christmas is the perfect example of this.

This year, perhaps more than most recently, Christmas will be challenging for many, with travel plans and present deliveries severely held up by the snow and bad weather. But, wherever you are, try to let yourself relax.

One of ou favourite quotes about Christmas that always makes us remember to switch off my efficient ‘working’ mode is from American broadcaster Andy Rooney, who says: “One of the most glorious messes in the world is the mess created in the living room on Christmas day.  Don’t clean it up too quickly.” It’s an old piece of advice, reminding us all just to let things go and take some time out this Christmas.
